Album Notes
This song is about how i feel towards the way the world is changing. I miss the good days of the 1970's when growing up it felt like it could only get more free and easy and much to my surprise the pendulum swung the other way and political correctness and too many complainers about trivial issues abound reminiscent of lynrd skynrd meets AC/DC and flourished with neat bluesy guitar fills "I've always loved this style of music and it comes easy for me and with this batch of songs lyrical content became more important and my true feelings began to surface without the "restrictions" of heavy metal .
This is a "protest song" and a comment on our society that , after so many people fought for the newly won freedoms in the 60's by 1990 something things started to take back those liberties with a war on drugs and everyone in the USA having some issue that they were offended by. In the 60's facing the draft or vietnam young people respected their lives more today it's unusually different a quip on face book or in passing but no real action to take back the reigns of the fun bucket
