ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
From the Liner Notes:
There are times when I am performing solo piano that my fingers wander away from familiar patterns to find their own music. These inspirations seem to link emotionally with various things going on in my world at that time. Later, I hone them down or stretch them out into more refined compositions and give them titles which reflect these connections. Most of the songs here have origins within these tiny "finger discoveries."

Listener Comments:
"One word comes to mind, TALENT! You make a piano talk. My favorite is 'Daedalus,' it personifies your vast talent". - Janet (retired in Florida)

"I have continued to enjoy "Bittersweet." I use it in the morning during my meditation time or whenever I just want or need some peace." - Margaret in Cleveland

"I teach 1st and 2nd grade special needs students. I brought your CD Bittersweet to class today... It was soothing during class as well as during my planning time...." - Pam in Kilbourne, OH

Reviews:
Creations
"I found this beautiful solo piano CD absolutely delightful! The 14 pieces are interesting and intelligent. Sowash really captures a certain realism in these compositions. Upbeat and bittersweet! I didn't want it to end." - Christina Lord

Omega Directory
"Highly recommended to all lovers of solo piano music." -

New Age Voice
"The melodies seem familiar enough to make you lean back trustingly--but just as you do, Sowash pulls out some brilliant touch that pulls you to the edge of your seat. - Carol Wright
