Album Notes
The songs on Unicorn Street come primarily from a collaboration between two outstanding songwriter / producer / musicians - Orlando "The Don" Lund, and Sergio "SirJo" Cocchi.

Guitarist Orlando (who has released albums with The Big Cheese All Stars and Palma Groove Project), brings together his influences from Space-Rock to P-Funk, from Soul to Acid Jazz. He has also contributed electric bass, keyboards, drum programming, and many of the backing vocals to this album, whilst also taking care of the "in the pocket" arrangements.

Singer Sergio's incredibly soulful voice, and easy lyrical style is carried on the back of his crisp, accurate, multi-layered backing vocals. His wide dynamic vocal range handles deep baritone to Prince-like falsetto, and includes all the grit in between.

They are ably abetted by virtuosic instrumental performances from Pepe Ragonese (trumpet), Pancho Ragonese (Wurlitzer electric piano), Pep Lluis Garcia (congas), Pablo Di Salvo (additional bass) and Miki Ramón (Tenor sax). The album is a truthful and sometimes scathing take on what it means to be here on Planet Earth in 2019. Fusing Jazz, Psychedelic Soul, Space Rock, Funk and Groove, Spacecake International transport you on an exhilhirating journey to Unicorn Street, a journey you will want to repeat time and time again.
