ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Spoorloos "The Hill" is intended to be listened to as a narrative sequence of songs/stories. A few tracks of varying length crossfade into each other, so it is best to buy the whole album rather than individual tracks. The CD edition is a hi-gloss digipak with an 8-page lyrics booklet.

Spoorloos is named after the 1988 Dutch-French suspense-horror film directed by George Sluizer. The word in Dutch means "Traceless" or "Without a Trace." These songs are also partly based on the ghost stories of Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu and Oliver Onions. Other songs are concerned with amateur necromancy, accidental portals, and foniasophobia (fear of serial killers).
