ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Spring and the Land

This isn't music! It's an cinematic experience for your ears!
Fritz Aigner, Cinematographer

Spring and the Land is an 'alt-folk' band formed in Graz, Austria in 2008, known for playing an 'eclectic' variety of music.
The two main Members are 'Jacques Bush' and 'Marino Acapulco', who played first together in the electro group 'dogboy!' which has recorded a number of Albums on Para Recordings, while their 2002 Album 'watersports' reaches the austrian alternative Charts.
Also Spring and the Land's 2010 released Album 'outside my window' was very honored by the press.

Their musical style is highly influenced by traditional sounds of the Southwestern 'United States' and 'americano', and they have also been described as 'alt-roots'. Spring and the Land is named after their equal called own Song from 2008.
