ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Squonk Opera are one of America's most innovative multi-media musical theatre troupes. This is the soundtrack album to their acclaimed show "Mayhem and Majesty", a magical mystery tour through sound. Never a dull moment, the beautifully insistent piano riffs and arpeggios lead the band into cutting edge avant-prog territory. A truly operatic sweep of emotions i explored, with influences as diverse as Phillip Glass, Elbow and even Radiohead apparent.

"a musical experience that's colorful, chaotic, spiky, elegant, sensuous and surreal" - Tribune-Review.

"a score that ranges from haunting lullaby to overwhelming cacophony" - City Paper
