Album Notes
Join Sri Prahlada in singing kirtan, a yogic form of meditation based on sacred sound. Kirtan is about community, and what makes this album special is the collaboration with other renowned kirtan artists such as Dave Stringer, Carmella Gitanjali, Edo and Jo, and others. Since childhood, Sri Prahlada has lead kirtan in ashramas and events across the world with a special gift for bringing everyone in the audience together to sing as one, with ‘One voice, one heart’. He has achieved the same here on this CD by inviting a community of kirtan chant artists to join him in the studio. Sri Prahlada gradually builds each kirtan to a point of ecstatic joy that’s guaranteed to get you singing and dancing!
