Album Notes
All you need is to hear him croon - and then you'll be hooked for life.

Michigan-based singer/songwriter Steven Ross Jahn belongs to an earlier generation of male solo artists. Those who fondly recall the easy listening sounds of AM radio in the '70s and '80s will relish Jahn's uplifting melodicism and relaxing pop hooks.

Influenced by classic rock and country music, Jahn writes accessible, timeless songs that appeal to different generations of fans.

On "South Texas Wind," Jahn's romanticism is proudly displayed. Songs such as "I Saw Your Picture in the Paper" and "Dusty Road" are burdened with heavy emotions but Jahn reflects upon the heartaches in life with newly found wisdom. Elements of country and '70s pop criss cross into a likeable easy-listening package that already has music critics praising:

"...Steven Ross Jahn has a voice that can warm polar caps...fragile and bittersweet, capturing the deep-seated ache of a wounded soul...Fans of Kenny Rogers and even Dan Fogelberg will have much to relish on this laidback, hopelessly sentimental record"

- Adam Harrington, Whisperin & Hollerin [U.K.]

"There is poetry in his simplicity, grace in his fragility"

- Kyrby Raine, Ink 19
