Album Notes
Suzanna Sifter is an internationally acclaimed jazz pianist and educator, who has three recordings as a leader, composer and arranger : Flowers for You, Awakening, and The Illumination. She has been on faculty at Berklee College of Music for twenty years. She has traveled in Europe, South America, and Japan giving master classes and performing. She holds a BM from Berklee and Master’s Degree from New England Conservatory. This recording features the piano in solo to quartet settings, expressing the many moods of jazz piano. The last track is a special recording of a traditional Hungarian folk lullabye that Suzanna’s mother sang to her as a child.

The Illumination, is the strongest recording to date, featuring exciting interplay and great improvisation. Enjoy!!
