Album Notes
Michael Stadler was raised in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, a sparsely populated, starkly beautiful place bordered by Lake Superior, empty sand beaches & nearly unbroken expanses of forest. Life there requires perseverance & luck.

A resident of the San Francsico Bay Area for over 30 years, Michael began playing music at age 6. His music is emotionally vibrant and his own songs, while performed in styles identified as country or folk or Americana, are steeped in a sense of his home and people.

"... all-round musician Michael Stadler (one hell of a country singer)."
Laurie Lewis, Bluegrass luminary, Grammy nominee,
International Bluegrass Music Association Vocalist of the Year

"... a haunting, rhythmic tour de force."
