Album Notes
Stan Butler has just released his second album in 2017 titled "The Blues in Me". This album mainly focus on the era of true living meaning that his music is written with the purpose of exposing the truth from the past and present. As controversial as it may be, in small communities songs like these can cause an uproar. These songs include: "I LET A WOMAN TAKE MY WOMAN" and "PREACHER WAS A HOME WRECKER", and they are rarely spoken on with the older and the new generation.

Inspiration for this album comes from artist that Stan Butler grew up listening to. These artist include: Al Green; James Brown; Johnny Taylor; Prince; Marvin Sease; Tyrone Davis; and KC and JoJo all are legendary in their time and have set the pace for future artist and performers.

Today, Stan Butler is one of the few southern soul artist in Georgia who composes; directs; and publish his own music. All of his music derive from Stan Butler's original compositions.
