ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Long Day's Journey (2001) was Stan DeWitt's first solo CD after several years performing, recording and touring with the seminal folk group The Woodbys. This album was co-produced with Anthony Arvizu (Bourbon Jones, Marc Ford, National People's Gang), and includes a diverse slate of musicians, including Jim Bybee, Joe Lamanno and Arvizu himself on the drums. It's a warm compilation of songs that range from loving ("Things Unseen") to affirming ("Long Day's Journey") to humorous (a rollicking cover of "The Pirate Song" as a hidden track.)
