Album Notes
Sue Borowski is a rising independent recording artist from the Pittsburgh, PA area who is becoming visible throughout the area and via social networking circles. Her music touches the realms of Celtic, Folk and Country in a fresh new style that continues to please listeners all over. Her new album, Steel Clover “In the Celtic Spirit” is a moving work that clearly shows her experience as a quality songwriter and performer.

She recorded this album while enduring treatments for breast cancer. Her sensitivity and emotion comes through in every song on this album. In particular, her hauntingly beautiful arrangement of "Back Home in Derry" reflects her emotional experiences during chemotherapy.

Sue plays many instruments including guitar, fiddle, mandolin, bouzouki, irish whistle, bodhran and accordion. You can check her out on Facebook, YouTube and at her Official website

Overview of In the Celtic Spirit
This is Sue's first CD. She came up with the songs. She arranged them. Recorded them. Mixed them. All in her basement. Sue has no formal training in recording engineering. No big musical mentors. What you will hear when you buy this CD is ALL Sue. Pure and simple. Just like good single-malt Middleton's. Smooth, honest, and heartwarming. I do not know ANYONE who has done their own CD from conception to duplication except for Sue. But when you see the sign that says "homemade", doesn't it denote excellence? Someone who has put their heart into the creation? In Sue's case, it sure does.
