Album Notes
Stefano Masera, born in Rovereto (TN) Italy, the same day of Johann Sebastian Bach (!), but 279 years later (21 march 1964), gets his guitar diploma with maximum score under the guidance of Mariano Andreolli at Conservatorio di Riva del Garda (TN). Later he attends perfectioning courses with Leo Brouwer and Oscar Ghiglia and starts studying composition under the guide of Francesco Valdambrini. In 1994 he wins the national contest for teaching in the State Conservatoires of Music. He plays as a soloist, in duo with flute, violin and voice and in other chamber ensembles, but he also conducts choir and instrumental groups. He has composed music for several formations, expecially chamber music, music for solo guitar and didattic music. In 1997 he recorded an album of XX centuy music for guitar and flute, and in 2000 an album of of chamber music of Renato Dionisi. After he recorder only the music he composed.
