ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This collection of children's songs was inspired by my daughter Sofia, who spent many afternoons with me in the backyard, gazing up at our sprawling avocado tree and absorbing the vivid blues and greens of the scenery above her. Many thanks to my wife Garam for her continual support with this project, and for providing translation assistance on most of the Korean-language songs. I also want to thank my father, Jeremy Young, for his input in the mixing stages and for permission to include new renditions of some of his original songs on the album (songs which are--for the record--the best songs on here). Thanks to Zach Newman for tickling the banjo on "Baby Diaper Time", and thanks to Anna-Britt Mahler for the use of her Westwood home as a recording space on "Through the Window". My 2 yr old and newphews (4 and 6month old) love the music. You will get to learn simple Korean as well.
