Album Notes
Dave Steffen has blended newly written songs with a couple of old favorites written in the past that his fans have been asking for on this outstanding CD. The "Eve of Autumn" takes you on a musical journey that winds down a road of blues, rock, and more. The songs were written from personal experiences, life and love, and dreams of a creative musical architect. Dave proves once again that he is an awesome musician. His guitar that has been with him since he was a young lad sings with the caress of his fingers. Craig Neuser, the bands bass player, has written one of the songs called "I'm Goin' Home" that rocks hard with a straight ahead beat. All three members contributed to the writing of the title song, "Eve of Autumn". If you like a little jazz you'll enjoy "Could It Be?" which has a jazzy dreamlike feel. Like the decore of autumn the "Eve of Autumn" reflects different vibrations filled with color and emotions. Dave Steffen invites you to listen to the autumn colors.

Dave had to do double duty while writing the songs for this one. Along with writing the songs for "Eve of Autumn" Dave has also written songs for his other band called the String Benders. Check out their CD entitled "Northern Lights", also listed here on CDbaby.

Excellent C/D !!!
I thought that it started out a little slow (songs 1-3) ... but once it kicked in to "Workin' Man's Blues" - it just ROARED after that !!!

Incredible. Music with feeling. Unbelieveable talent!
Eve of Autumn contains a great mix of new and a few of the band's classic songs. This a CD you can get addicted to.

Dave Steffen Rocks!
Phantom Lady is my favorite song of this CD, Dave knows how to jam no doubt about it. Best guitar player I have ever seen!

Very pleased
I am a new fan of Dave's music. After listening to the cuts available of his recordings on CD Baby, this is the one I purchased. I am very pleased with the whole cd.

Dave seems to be an old Blues-Warrior.He sure knows how to handle his weapon.I 've never heard of him before but now I won't forget him anymore.Europe and espacially Germany is ready for the Dave Steffen Band and their sound of the Bluesrock.
