ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Please go to stormworld and download your free 48-page Libretto. You can also visit the scores at stormworld, and watch a showcase reel from this latest Album, STORMWORKS Chapter 55: Way of the Wanderer.

I really want You to take part in the 'entire' Journey that makes up this latest Chapter in the Storm Works! As a Composer, it's difficult to understand just grabbing 1 or 2 tracks. For me, it would be the same as taking just a couple of words from a paragraph/ or in this case, grabbing a few sentences from a Novel. Please share in the entire Story of this latest Chapter!

Enjoy and Godspeed! S

Stephen Melillo, reposting the Reviews of International Conducto

International Conductors... pre-release Reviews, reposted by Stephen Melillo
“Holy WOWOWOWOWWWWWWW. THAT SOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And that MUSIC!!!!! And that PICTURE it produces in my brain and my Self... Bravo!!!!!! Amazing!!!!” Amy J. Steiner, Director of Bands, Hutchinson Central Technical High School

“Chapter 55: Way of the Wanderer is by FAR the MOST expressive,  impressive, and dynamic Music ever written this century. It is a journey of the soul like none other and Stephen Melillo has once again given us a glimpse of the IMPOSSIBLE by making it POSSIBLE. Nothing can come close to this recording or set of Music unless he writes another Chapter.” Walter Avellaneda, Conductor

"The latest chapter of Composer Stephen Melillo’s extraordinary musical output is his best to date .  Chapter 55: Way of the Wanderer, brings the performers/audience/listeners on an unparalleled journey from the darkest corners of their souls (In the Darkest Darkness) to the height of jubilation (Ark of the Covenant).  His powerful Symphony IIII will most definitely establish him as a leading symphonist of this generation and beyond.  Melillo’s real, meaningful, and undeniably emotional music will continue to be a staple of my curriculum/repertoire.” Louis Vitello, Conductor

“I am always ”knighted” after listening to your compositions and how you continually ELEVATE the world of musical depth and expression! BRAVO!” David Knott, Director of the Mozart and Friends Festival Orchestra, Founder of the Central PA Wind Conductors Society

“Steve, Watched a short bit knowing I did not have the time (Mid term grades). But will listen. MY First impression? Holy Holy HOLY LORD!!!! Outstanding renderings of your outstanding music! I WILL NEED TIME TO ABSORB ALL OF THIS and today is not the day unfortunately. Thank you for sending this!” Tom Davis, Rochester Institute of Technology

“An absolute massive creation!!! I so much miss conducting your masterworks… always receiving a standing ovation!! As I listen to your creations I enter into another world of joy, sadness, peace, and love that penetrates my soul. Thank you for sharing. May God bless you with love for creating such beautiful music for everyone to enjoy and appreciate.” Ed Lisk, Conductor

“I admire you and the results of your great and hard work. Please have my compliments as always. You are a composer who still has a human heart you are not afraid to open to the world! I am getting to be one of your leading advocate!” Laszlo Marosi, Conductor

“What can I say… kind of speechless about your so intense speaking music. The variety of your music, but always in your very personal language, seems infinite. The depth of your musical expression reaches the hearts of the audience immediately. I can tell you, as somebody who performed your music for years. Congrats to the composer, the band, the conductor und the producer! Another world-connecting event, caused by a high talented and precious man. Liebe Grüße” Jochen Lorenz, Conductor

“This is music of power, emotion, and destiny all crafted with the most fantastic world class artistry that has come to be expected of Melillo's art!  The ideas and breadth of contrast are awesome, not to mention the superb orchestration. Furthermore, the recording is an absolute SONIC SPECTACLE. The combination of the fantastic Das Musikkorps der Bundeswehr, conducted by Christoph Scheibling, and the chorus coupled with the out of this world recording by Roland Stuppin provide the utmost clarity to Melillo’s music. No doubt your seating arrangement for the ensemble made all this happen so much the better!!!  EVERYONE NEEDS TO HEAR THIS ALBUM!!!!” Aldo Rafael Forte, Composer

“An undoubtable, distinctive style, sound, and message you are always able to put in notes on simple paper. Your music catches me, fascinates my ears and is always thrilling, exciting and touches my mind very deep. Then Symphony IIII. Great thing!!! Music that pushes you away in new atmospheres you have never known before. Being part of the music in such moments… I can only say thank you, Steve,  I’ve never been in such a world with my feelings. Listening to your music is a great thing for me, playing it with an orchestra fulfills me, conducting it pushes me away… and therefore you can be sure that I will spread my enthusiasm for your music as well as I can. Ganz liebe Grüße!” Max Plank, Conductor
