ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
During the creation of my last CD (“I Want To Floyd”), also found on CDBaby and Apple iTunes, I created a song called “Omni Man”. Since I am doing all of the music myself I thought “Omni Man, great title for a CD”. Thus I started on my next Journey.

The reason that Omni Man is so significant to me is because after having a band for 7 years and going through the hassles of trying to make it work (and we did work). People started having babies and going their separate ways. I found in this journey that I couldn’t rely on anyone and found out that I really didn’t have any dependable friends. I know, I know enough of the sob story already. Anyway, I started putting together my studio and learned to play more than just an acoustic guitar. Last year I learned to play the drums and all of the songs on this CD I am doing everything, including the drums. Though I am playing leads on all my songs, I do farm out lead guitar work to a couple of guys. Two guys come to the studio and one guy I send him a wav and he sends me his lead. I pick them apart, mix em and fit em and produce the sounds you hear.

Though there are a couple that I like more than others, they are all a part of my heart and soul.

I tell my wife that I doubt I’ll ever see any fruits of my labors. I still don’t sleep on the weekends and work hard at creating my art. Supposedly one song from my last CD is going into a Lion’s Gate film this fall titled “Errand Boys”.

If this gets read by anyone "I am a man in a bottle trying to find my way home". If my music gets heard I hope you too can hear the sound that is in my heart, it is unique and it is me, Stephen Sanderson.
