Concocted Cogitations

by Stephen Weber

A purely instrumental escape into other worlds. No text to influence you. All works were spontaneously created, generated, and performed. This is a foray into the unknown; not recommended for those without an imagination.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Stephen Weber is a classically trained university music professor, composer, pianist, and organist. Most of his compositions are tediously written down away from a keyboard, then note-set for publication. He has over 80 published works through various publishers. However, this music is his spontaneous outlet, created and performed at the keyboard, generally in one sitting. These compositions begin from nowhere, but are designed to take the listener somewhere. This is the sixth of his CDs containing sequences that range in styles from classically-based, to minimalism, to avant garde, to "pop", and from the sublime to the bizarre. Try living in his head for awhile.
