ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Stereotyans are a unique hard rock five-piece band combining mythology, comic books, stage effects, and music. The Tytans—Prometheus (Damon Small, vocals), Kronos (Chris Jones, bass), Hyperion (Gabriele Guma, guitar), Okeanus
(Marc Brasof, drums), Hades (Ken Khaoss, DJ), and The Oracle (Sam Klien, narrator)—describe their sound as “if Living Color, Fishbone, and Radiohead had a three-way while Public Enemy watched, and then birthed sweet, sweet musical babies with hints of soul, funk, and metal.” It is a rare opportunity to see Stereotytans; they keep a low profile after escaping the underworld in order to stay out of Zeus’ and the other gods’ radar. The music video “Break A Way” tells the story of this epic escape.

Stereotytans are set to release a fully colored, 30 page comic book, illustrated by James Comey, telling the story of their lives after escaping Tartarus under Zeus’ nose.

This album rocks!
Been awhile since I've listen to an album that was this much fun. With a mix of soul, funk, and a dash of old school
metal the Sterotytans bring it. It's fun, feels a bit nostalgic to another time in music yet stays modern. It's the kind of CD I will keep in my truck for a few months. In an era where presentation is everything, the Tytans give us a fun comic, that looks into the everyday lives of said Tytans and what they hope to achieve with their awesome music. These guys have their own sound and it rocks. Check it out I seriously doubt you will be disappointed.

A Wild Ride
This album was a crazy ride from start to finish. High energy, amazing guitar rifts and such powerful vocals reminiscent of killswitch engage, I thoroughly enjoyed this album. The most unique aspect was the blending of different genres from metal, funk, soul, and hiphop. I think there is a lot here for listeners of varied tastes. The songs are fun and catchy without taking itself too seriously. A genuinely exciting and engaging listening experience. Accompanied by a hilariously entertaining comic book that goes background to this wild concept album, Stereotytans leave little to be desired. Highly recommend!
