Album Notes
"Open Arms" is Steve Boudreau's first solo piano record. On it are seven original pieces and two covers, by opposing influences Thelonious Monk and Brian Wilson. The originals range from the sad yet bouncy "Raymond Guy" to the reverential "Chorale". Steve is an Ottawa, Canada-based jazz pianist who has recently returned home after being on the road for five years. Contrary to the obvious conclusion, the title track "Open Arms" was written when he first left home, and was welcomed by an ever growing group of colleagues and friends.

The record was recorded, mixed and mastered by Matt Ouimet in 2010.
Steve would like to thank Harvey and Louise Glatt for the use of their Steinway piano and their home.
