Album Notes
My main contribution to the world of music is to have been a chronicler of the Alaskan experience through song these past forty-some years. I came to this by way of folk music as a young guy in the sixties, through years of rock and roll with various bands, and an abiding fascination with music throughout the world, past and present. Given my remote life style, I've had to learn the art of recording and producing pretty much on my own but as my Dad would say, "We learn by going where we have to go." Alaska had been a deep well to draw from and never stops to astound me with new insights and perspectives on this Great Land and the misfits that inhabit it. I keep searching for fresh ways to paint the canvas.
