ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
My name is Steve Mitchell and I'm a local singer/songwriter from Frisco, Texas.
Been playing drums since I was about 3 years old (27 now) and writing music/poetry for about the past 5 years now.
The whole reason I started writing music and following "the dream" originated from a black-out I had after a motor-cycle wreck. I was going 55 mph with no helmet or jacket on and hit the side of a truck. While I was passed out I saw me and my buddy Jeff Fajans (guitar) playing in a band called "Make10" on the stage at American Airlines Center. When I awoke I felt like I was supposed to do music with my life. So I used the 20,000 dollars I made off of the wreck to buy a home studio. Wrote for about 3 years so I could have enough material to form an original band and formed "Make10." The accident happened about 5 years ago in October of 2007 and in the summer of 2010 Jeff and I had the amazing opportunity to play a halftime show at American Airlines center with the band I started called "Make10." I can't describe the feeling of having started something from scratch off of a belief no one but me believed to actually achieving a dream. I am truly blessed beyond belief. Now I am writing for me and want to get more exposure. My music is from the heart and always about never giving up on love. In fact I dated a girl named Carrie and cheesily enough I wrote a song called "Carried Away." I would like to be one of the artist in this new era of music. I feel like no-one writes about love anymore just about sex and the club, which to me is really sad, yet inspires me to help bring back the Michael Jackson's and Stevie Wonder's of my childhood.
