Album Notes
The music on this album is very personal. In life we all have times to make choices, and take chances that might not end so well. Sometimes the dark clouds loom, but you can never give up. Better weather is just around the corner. No matter how bad things get, there will always be a better day.

My sister was diagnosed with a heart dysfunction called Coronary Micro Vascular Disease (CMVD). This was at a time when I was married, going to college, acting in two different shows, and working throughout the week. My time was very limited, I was only able to visit my sister, who frequented the local hospitals intensive care unit, during the last few hours of the day before midnight. One day my wife up and left me which propelled me into writing music more and more. This caused me to write a song about my dad's "Little ray of sunshine" and the friends that helped me through these tough times.

It didn't end there. I realized that no matter how bad things got for me, perseverance would be the key to gaining happiness and stability again. Because of that I stumbled upon the words "Life goes on, times get better, they said up ahead it's better weather." Pretty soon life did just that. It opened up those blue skies, and times got windy, but it wasn't anything I couldn't conquer. "Like a bird flying against the wind, sometimes you lose and sometimes you win. Pick yourself up and try again." They are words to live by, and mantra's that I hope to spread throughout the world. I want to help people who struggle with depression and aid those who long to see better days. I can do that best with the music I create and the message that I share.
