Album Notes
INTERCEPTOR was engineered, recorded, mixed, mastered and produced by Gary Bolton and co-produced by Steve Pilant and Tracy Hollingsworth at Strawberry Skys Recording Studios, West Columbia, South Carolina. Eric McCord was the assistant engineer on INTERCEPTOR. "The Sun On Your Face", "What Is Wrong With Us" and "The Happy Hippie Song" were mastered by Frank Arkwright at Abbey Road Studios in London, England.

INTERCEPTOR features the talents of Steve Pilant (songwriter, co-producer, lead vocals, synth, piano, art direction), Mark Poole (bass guitar and album artist), Tracy Hollingsworth (drums / percussion, co-producer), Michael Smith (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar), Chris Carmichael (recording, performing and arranging all strings), Anne and Laurel MacCallum (backing vocals), featuring Tracy O'Brien, Avin Tehan and Traci Taylor (other vocals) with promotional photography / videography by Jimmy Sadler and Dan Beale, Layne Snelgrove location shooting assistant, with modeling for INTERCEPTOR's album paintings by Kyrian Poole, Tracy O'Brien, Avin Tehan, Tracey Lide Smith and Traci Taylor.

INTERCEPTOR is a modern-day AOR / progressive rock album featuring 12 songs about love, disposable society, sacrifice, relationships and the human condition. INTERCEPTOR also features wonderfully transporting imaginative realism paintings by well known science fiction / fantasy artist Mark Poole of Magic: The Gathering fame. Mark has also done work for Lucasfilm, LTD, Cirque Du Soleil, White Wolf Publishing, Warcraft, Sony Online Entertainment, Upper Deck and Ziggurat Games as well as an Illuxcon alumni Main Showcase artist. The artwork of INTERCEPTOR conveys the different songs and their interconnected story, the vinyl version of the album a deluxe gatefold presentation with a 28 page large-format full color lyric booklet featuring Mark's wonderful imagery. The visual storytelling presentation of INTERCEPTOR pays homage to and is a modern day callback to the best prog rock and art concept albums of yesteryear, providing a depth of visual storytelling to the albums different songs.

Chris Carmichael composed, recorded and performed all of the individual violin, viola and cello parts for the cinematic instrumental "The Sun On Your Face" featured on INTERCEPTOR at his Stonehurst Studio.
