ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is a first for Steve Slagle,an entire recording focusing on his flute sound and exploring many different contexts and directions. The single here first released( before the whole 10 Trks cd-'Spirit Calls') is Goin' Home a folk song by composer Dvorak first written in 1897.Starting with otherworldly & free sounds on his flute and melting into a great groove,Steve takes this song into new territory both in musical direction and flute playing. New sounds for fresh ears-- Dare to check it out!
