ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This CD brings together a group of burning instrumentalists playing all original music with lots of room for stretching out. The first eleven tracks make up a suite which was inspired by the Heartside neighborhood in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The two "sound paintings" that close the CD are intended to take the listener on a journey into the imagination. More compositions in sound than music in the traditional sense, these last two tracks are unlike anything else and go beyond category or description. They must be heard to be believed.
