Album Notes
Rockin' Eco Hero - Steve Trash has been passionate about "music" and the "environment" for a very very long time. He's been an internationally touring eco-illusionist for over 30 years and all his creative work (films, live shows, video, commercials, and kids TV Shows) incorporate these passions.

THE TRASH TUNES is a fun artistic collaboration between Steve and his friend Kelvin Holly. Kelvin is a working Pro Musician with lots of big-time credits. He's been lead guitarist for many bands including: The Little Richard Band, The Amazing Rhythm Aces, The Decoys, and Pegi Young & the Survivors.

Combining their love of the environment and a bit of the mystical "Muscle Shoals Music" magic, they've produced a collection of songs - THE TRASH TUNES - for kids, that will also appeal to grownups. According to Steve, "Our goal was to create music that we would listen to in the van with our kids on a long trip. Mostly we wanted to make eco-themed and empowering songs that had "real" musicianship and "mojo" to it. I think we've done exactly that".

Check-out all the Steve Trash music. We think you'll like it. Thanks for stopping in.

My kids love listening to The Trash Tunes.
This is great traveling music! I love it and my kids (3 and 7 years old) do, too! We enjoy the music and the message.

Best Eco Friendly CD I have ever listened to
When I first heard of Steve Trash, Rockin Eco Hero, I was in the 7th grade and saw his Ecology Magic show, a show that raised awareness about recycling with high class illusions thrown in. Skip to today and through some friends on Facebook I heard about this CD and had to give it a listen. I was pleasantly surprised at the professional quality of THE TRASH TUNES. Now this isn't your momma's children's music, this CD rocks! Not only do you have Steve Trash's environmentally conscious attitude but you also have Mr. Kelvin Holly of Muscle Shoals music fame putting down some amazing licks on the guitar.
Needless to say that if you want your children to have a good time rocking out AND learning the importance of taking care of our planet, I can think of nothing better than THE TRASH TUNES!!!

not just trashy music :)
Created by two totally fun guys both well worthy of the title "Rockin' Eco Hero," this CD is a rollicking good time with a hidden lesson reminiscent of the methods used by Schoolhouse Rock in my long-ago childhood. Absolutely appropriate for youngsters of all ages, it's kid-friendly and adult-approved. My favorite cut, "Garbage Mountain," is a bluesy tune you'd never expect from a "children's CD" but should expect from these seasoned entertainers. Steve Trash is a veteran magician specializing in tricks with items normally discarded as trash who has performed street magic is major cities around the world and toured festivals and fairs for more than 30 years. Kelvin Holly is a long-time musician with a storied career as Little Richard's bandleader, a member of the Amazing Rhythm Aces, and session player on many hit records. BUY THIS CD. You won't be sorry! You'll find yourself singing along with the tunes in your car, in the grocery store, in the shower...

This is great, strongly suggest visiting a school and asking how you could talk to the education board in order to start selling your music to the school for them to listen to it. Maybe some big $$$.

Still really cool
Yeah the music was pretty good but it wasn’t really what i was expecting. My favorite kind of music is R&B and this is rock & roll. Its still pretty good though. It has a great message for the environment and the songs (even though not my cup of tea) are well constructed and presented nicely. I can say that this would be a great CD for people who like rock and roll and that “Muscle Shoals” sound that people talk about. But it just wasn’t for me.
