Album Notes
SteveT is a Connecticut based songwriter, instrumentalist, and vocalist who fronts the studio only band "the Rough Edges".
The Rough Edges is comprised of a rotating cast of New England based musicians, typically artists SteveT has worked or played with in some prior venue.

"No Excuses" was written and recorded over 18 months, with tracking in professional and home studios and a few tracks bounced in and around over the Internet. The song titles, track order, and basic intention for vibe and lyric were all developed at the start of the project, and then fleshed out as individual projects. The album is 90% true to that initial concept.

This collection is intended to be one you can play front to back at a house dance party that will satisfy a group of guests with a wide variety of musical tastes. The tracks vary widely in style and genre, but all (with the exception of a short, quiet, get-a-drink intermission composition) will keep you moving.
