Album Notes
Up-tempo “Frackin’ Hoedown”, (a.k.a “Another Frackin’ Hoedown”), brings The ECLECTRIC Music Players together for a barn thumping follow-up to the old man ballad. Under Steward’s direction, veteran instrumentalists Floren deKichen (fiddle) and Mr. E. S. Carpenter (musical saw) team up with new blood as well as old friends from Steve’s 2010 album, Ridin’, Drivin’, Wakan... Within the devilishly angelic ECLECTRIC CHORUS, the voices of Serena Ann Green Eagle and the lovely Floral Clustah are joined by recent standout inductees Maxie Ripnit on the high end, and the one and only Big Lurch Hooper on the bottom.

LYRICS: FRACKIN’ HOEDOWN (a.k.a. Another Frackin’ Hoedown)

Another dumb frackin’ fool < VERSE 1
Another dumb frackin’ fool
Well, he got some frackin’ money [Now I
Don’t think that’s so funny]
Another dumb frackin’ fool

[Well there’s a] Moneychanger [he’s right here] in the temple < VERSE 2
[Ticks me off] Tick you off and make you mental
[We need to] Send him back to school
To learn the Golden Rule
[And there’ll be] One less frackin’ fool

[Why don’t you] Get on your horse and roam < VERSE 3
[Go see what’s] shakin’ in Oklahom [Good old Oklahoma]
When the Earth says no
[These frackin’ fools gotta go]
All roads lead to home [Yes they do!]

Well, I’m just a fool, and you’re just a fool < VERSE 4
If we think that this is a good thing to do
The Earth is alive [and it’s way bigger than you]
You little frackin’ fool

Well, I’m just a fool, and you’re just a fool < VERSE 5
We’re just frackin’ fools [It was a little voice said]
I’m just a fool, and you’re just a fool
We’re crazy frackin’ fools

[Just try to] Picture this world where the energy’s free < VERSE 6
[Like good old] Nikola Tesla knew it would be
But the powers that be still wanna sell it to thee [and me]

That’s the lowdown and it’s not new < ENDING
If we don’t hoe down to what’s true
Then I’ll be a fool, and you’ll be a fool
We’ll all be crazy [frackin’] fools
[Crazy frackin’ fools]
