Album Notes
The sophomore full album release from Still Friends, "It's Time", is a project that has taken shape over the last eight years. Songs about love, life, and loss have been born in the loving chemistry of family and friends.

This recording was done in the Summer/Fall of 2016, in the home studios of the band members, with sounds of family, dogs, and living going on in the in between spaces.

All Interludes, the Intro and Outro were improvised in single takes by Reed and Andy, as they randomly sat and jammed, wordlessly, melding one lead/melody line into another, trading instruments from bass, to guitar, to mandolin. We managed to hit the "RECORD" button a few different times, on about 45 minutes of it, and have selected about ten minutes of it for you on this project.

Major production time was put in by Tiffiny Coffey and Andy Leach.
All album art by Tiffiny Coffey. (See About the Album Art, below for more!)

Instrumentation and vocal credits:
Carrie Blackwell-Hussey: vocals
Tiffiny Coffey: vocals, rhythm guitar
Andrew Leach: lead guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass
Reed Coffey: bass, lead guitar, trombone, vocals
Japhy Blackwell: saxophone

About the Album Art:
Since this recording took place, I (Tiffiny) had the life changing experience of cruising the Indian Ocean for thirty days with my Mother. We visited South African, African and SE Asian ports all along the way. The background of the cover art is a watercolor/drawing I did over a couple of hours one morning, looking out (for pirates and flying fish!) as we sailed the wide open Indian Ocean. The vista was wide open, vast, and endless. A perfect setting for Still Friends.
