Album Notes
Originally recorded in 1979, this 2005 re-release delivers the voice of Dave Leatherman, about whom was written, "If the mountains could sing, they would sound like Leatherman." Pat J. Ahrens, Freelance Writer and Author, 1996 Recipient of the South Carolina Folk Heritage Advocacy Award

This CD presents the Stone County Boys: Leatherman, Walter Gosser-Tenor and Banjo, Dean Reynolds-Baritone and Bass Fiddle, Dale Hopkins-fiddle, John Purk-mandolin, Chuck Stearman-mandolin, and Wayne Shull-bass singer. You'll be hard pressed to find a finer Traditional Bluegrass ensemble.

Very good
I was very happy with the CD and the cdbaby company it was ordered from. I loved the reply they sent about how they were sending it. It came very fast and hope I have something else I want from their company. Nice people to deal with.
