Album Notes
Having mastered several musical instruments on his own, Stoomie now works mainly in alternative hip hop, instrumental hip hop and electronica. He currently considers his greatest influences to be Dust Brothers, Dan The Automator and Jon Brion. He also looks to the works of Boards of Canada, Massive Attack, Portishead, Radiohead, Damon Albarn, Beck, Moby, Liam Lynch, Vangelis, John Lennon and Nigel Godrich for inspiration.
His debut album "Two For a Tenner - Yes Please" was recorded in San Francisco, California and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The music video for the song "Two For a Tenner - Yes Please (Melrose Edit)" was produced and directed by Carlos Ferro in 2005 and is currently available online in multiple web locations.

Love the rap with a Vangelis touch. It's good hearing a real musician take on this genre. Shows a lot of promise. Keep it up!
