Album Notes
A Sad Sight for Sore Eyes is the 4th studio album by Stop Calling Me Steven. Sad Sight is a dark album, but within that darkness is the same tongue-in-cheek humor found in previous releases. A lot has happened since the first Stop Calling Me Steven release 11 years ago and it is evident throughout.

While similar in style to Planets and Animals, A Sad Sight for Sore Eyes finds itself merging old and new, with several styles not explored on previous works. There are just as many songs that are lighthearted and fun as there are deep tracks that hit hard. This results in some of the best work Stop Calling Me Steven has offered to date, and proves to be a welcome addition to the catalog.

A Sad Sight for Sore Eyes was written and recorded in multiple sessions starting in August of 2017 and October of 2018 through February 2019, with production wrapping up on February 22, 2019. The album was recorded at Jr Studios; Steve Wiley's home studio. The official release date is May 31st, 2019.
