ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Joe Stopka is a studio musician/songwriter/producer from the Chicago area. Joe is playing with a great local group called Transformation that plays places like Austin's - The Fuel Room, The Roundhouse and other famous local digs. Joe plays many music styles but really loves Rock, Jazz and Blues.

Joe spent several years in the beginning of his music career in the Los Angeles music scene playing clubs throughout the South Bay beach area and some very famous Hollywood digs. While living in L.A. Joe had the unique experience of working at the world famous “Record Plant Recording Studios” (www.therecordplant.com). It was at the Record Plant where Joe learned quite a bit about audio recording and producing from some of the top dignitaries of the industry.

Joe is equally accomplished at electric and acoustic guitars and plays virtually all parts (rhythm and lead guitars) including bass guitar, keys and most percussion on his recordings. Joe is also an accomplished vocalist.

Joe can be heard with the band "Transformation" throughout the Chicagoland area. Check out Joe at http://www.reverbnation.com/joestopka where you can find out about future gigs. Also check out the band at myspace.com/transformationtheband.

Joe is also experienced behind the mixing console as a sound engineer and music producer and owns Stopka Studios.

Check out some of the reviews below. People are really enjoying Joe's music and guitar playing. Tell your friends and relatives. His CD is a perfect gift idea for music lovers.

Great collection of hypnotic guitar driven original instrumentals
Wow! What a great collection of original guitar instrumentals Joe Stopka has put together. Each song offers a unique blend of intricately arranged guitar layers sure to please any fan of adventurous, melodic guitar work. As a testament to its broad appeal, my 16 year old son thinks this music is fantastic and has actually borrowed this CD from my collection. Can't wait for Joe's next offering.

Joe, Great stuff as always. Makes me remember the old days in L.A. when we were starving songwriters. I found myself writing lyrics to the tunes as I listened. Hope to hook up with you next time I'm in Chicago. All the best!!

Awesome collection of original music.
The songs on this CD are great to listen to anytime. From working at the office, the drive home, dinner with friends, or sitting back, relaxing, and having a cold one after a long day. The different rhythms and melodies makes each song unique yet they blend together into a great collection you can listen to all day. This CD is a great addition to anyone's collection.
