Standing Between the Day and Night

by StormMiguel Florez

This moody, folk rock collection was recorded 4 years before Storm started his physical transition from female to male, and his voice began to change and deepen with the help of testosterone. He likes to think of this as his pre-pubescent boy voice.

StormMiguel Florez is a Chicano singer/sonwriter, performer, and producer who was born and raised as a girl in Albuquerque, New Mexico. More importantly, he was a kid who loved to sing. As a child, StormMiguel stood on furniture and performed for his family, by singing along with Johnny Cash, Jesus Christ Superstar (performing all parts), Helen Reddy, and the Grease soundtrack. As a grown-up he has been featured on NPR's Snap Judgement and has performed at venues across the U.S.

Still Too F.I.N.E.
It's good to see that Storm is still a dynamic performer and her CD Standing Between the Day and Night is testimony to her commitment to her art and her prowess as a songwriter. She is still as extreme as ever! You go girl!
