ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
“The Very Best of Streetcar Conductors” is the Streetcar Conductor’s first album - an imagined “Greatest Hits” collection spanning the last two decades, featuring songs from releases which in reality never saw the light of day. As one would expect, it is a musical adventure with many twists and turns that features a variety of instruments, songwriting styles, and production techniques. Their combination of upbeat pop sensibilities and thought-provoking, at times philosophical lyrics call for a bittersweet music listening experience. Ranging from folky, bright guitar tones, to forward driving, full-bodied bass riffs and analog synthesizer leads, it’s apparent that the Streetcar Conductors have an eclectic pool of influences to pull from. With elements of punk, psych rock, classic folk, and even new wave, the Streetcar Conductors have a multidimensional, unique vision that will not disappoint fans of power pop and related genres.
