Rhapsody in Uke

by Pete and Maura Kennedy Present the Stringbusters

the Stringbusters (Pete & Maura Kennedy) give their twin ukuleles, and the rest of their fretted arsenal, a real workout with a program drawn from the great songbook of 20's and 30's swing. Tunes by Django, Satchmo, and Jelly Roll come alive.

A Fun CD
I love the swing/ragtime music that these two play, and they play this music well. Some of the music on this CD is perhaps just "too cute", but much of it is excellent music as well. Since I play a 6 string electric uke, I love the use of uke in anything, and both of these people play well and with feeling. All in all, I highly recommend this CD just because it is so much fun to listen to. Good music well played by good musicians. Hard to ask for more.
