Album Notes
Strings & Ivory are "Diamond Jim" Hewitt on fiddle, Judy Francis on piano, Elena Martin on Flute, and Renee Arner on harp. We love old Celtic and English tunes, and play some contra dance and bluegrass styles as well. At a recent concert in Oracle, Arizona, where the band is located, a newspaper reviewer found that the band "enchanted" the audience with their style and enthusiasm. Waiting for Snow is our first studio album, made in time for the holidays in just 6 weeks. Previously we have release a live album of our Oracle concert, "Alive, Alive-O" which is available directly from
