ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
String Theory Trio has been playing in the hills of southwest Virginia over 15 years. We started playing occasionally for church and branched out to feature more traditional acoustic folk numbers and original tunes featuring 3-part vocal harmonies. We are now playing all around the region in bars and festivals, having a rousing good time. Some people say we sound like brothers and sisters because our voices blend so well.

"Everybody's Talking" comments on the ways social media has grabbed our social conscience.

“13 Hours To Go" is a tune Georgeanne and Bruce wrote on a road-trip to upstate New York. It's got the uptempo beat of the road coursing through its veins. "After You Came Along" tells the auto-biographical story, with some embellishing, of Steve and Georgeanne's first dates. Got to hear the song to find out how it turns out!

Americana/folk music comes naturally to String Theory Trio when they combine 3-part vocal harmonies with acoustic guitar, mandolin and bass. Their original tunes speak to contemporary themes like social media, and finding a place called "home".
