ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Stuart Anderson started developing his musical & performing skills during his teenage years. During this time he learned the guitar and began writing his own songs & singing them to friends & in school assemblies. He had piano lessons from Age 11 & studied up to his Grade 8.

As well as playing Piano, Stuart uses the latest in technology in his shows - a Yamaha Tyros 4 Keyboard. In addition he plays both acoustic & electric guitars & has recently added a Ukulele to his line up.

He has a warm mellow voice which has been likened to that of Elton John or George Michael. When he needs to use tracks he arranges and record his own, which are stored & played on his keyboard and iPad.

In June 2010 Stuart gave up his 'day job' in London to perform music full time with the highly successful duo Serendipity . During their 7 1/2 years performing together Serendipity played at many venues around East Anglia including Hotels, Golf Clubs and private parties. On turning full time they worked for P&O, Royal Caribbean, Fred Olsen Cruise Lines and also performed for 4 months at the 'Coco Palm' - a 5 star resort in the Maldives.

Stuart he has now been a solo artist since December 2013 and at the moment performs between MV Balmoral and MV Arcadia. He has an ever growing reputation and is currently booked right up to October 2015.

Hi musical repertoire covers all eras and genres of music. But as well as playing covers he is also a gifted songwriter of many years experience. He writes a catchy tune and memorable and meaningful lyrics which he hopes will touch his listeners and inspire them to push on to greater things in their lives.

SAILING SOLO is quite a personal Album. It was recorded on a 10 track digital studio on MV Arcadia as she sailed round Europe and the Caribbean during Oct/Nov 2014. It was mastered at Pete Reynolds Mastering in Colchester. Nearly an hour of music. 11 ORIGINAL songs.
Free e-booklet with more CD Notes, Photoes and Lyric downloadable from Stuart's Web site.
