ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Earlier this year, my fellow Co-Owner of StudioTrax.Net, Ron Caruana, and myself were having one of our monthly “putting the world to right” chats on the phone. The subject of Christmas came up, the commercialization of it, and how it throws into sharp relief child poverty in the world. We were wondering if there was any way that we could contribute a bit more to helping those most vulnerable in our society.

We decided to ask our fellow forum-ites if they had any ideas on how we, as a bunch of Internet musicians and engineers, could make some small, tangible contribution to this massive problem. And so the kernel idea for this album was germinated.

The response from our “crew” was simply astonishing, as was their intent that charity should receive as much of the proceeds of this album as possible. All our artists, engineers and behind the scenes people have given their time and services gratis, to that end. This has enabled me, as producer, not to have to worry about keeping costs low to make more of a margin for the charity-there were no costs, so the charity receives all profits directly from you.

We decided that we should let you, the listener, donate any amount you can afford, and to the Charity of your choice. Naturally, as you will be donating to a charity, you will be able to claim tax relief on this kindness, and can be fully confident that the charity will receive 100% of your donation.

We have decided to release the album at no cost to you, as a thank you. All we ask is that you consider making a donation. Our generous hosts, CD Baby, have allowed us to do this, and have waived any profits on future sales, as their contribution to the children of the world.

I'm hugely proud of my friends’ generosity, and of the album they have produced, and wish to introduce them to you.
