ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
SUIT is a three-piece electric blues band from Austin, Texas. We love taking music from blues masters like Muddy Waters, Son House and John Lee Hooker, as well as guys like Hound Dog Taylor, Buddy Guy, Tab Benoit and Joe Bonamassa and putting our own spin on it. We'd like to think that somewhere, Muddy and Hound Dog are smiling down on us saying, "You boys are all right."

But for "The Ballad of El Borracho" (written by our own Dana Vandiver especially for the world-renowned cowbell player El Borracho), we stepped slightly outside of the blues genre. El Borracho didn't need a blues song, he needed a spaghetti western-tinged theme song. So in addition to the usual SUIT line up of Dana Vandiver on guitar and vocals, Sean Sullivan on bass and Bill "Roadkill" Asa on drums, this song features El Borracho himself on cowbell. Because the world needs more cowbell.
