Album Notes
Alas, we all start our journey in a doctor’s office. From there on out we stroll down the crazy and unpredictable lane of life, finding our way through obstacles by believing in what is possible. As we grow up we often find ourselves struggling between what we have believed in as children and what we have been told the reality of life is. We tend to cast aside and replace our childhood dreams, experiences, and possessions. The things we once loved get put up in the attic where they are often forgotten and left to collect dust, save for perhaps a fleeting memory in a moment of nostalgia. But this is not how it has to be. Through life-long passions like music, writing, and art we can revisit our childhood thoughts and dreams that we had since put up in the attic and forgotten; a reminder to us of who we really are and what we really believe in. The child in each of us is perhaps the wisest of all because he or she only sees the world as an open book waiting to be written. Perhaps we do not actually have to grow up, but rather grow into our lives. We hope you enjoy our 3rd album: Birds in the Attic.
