Album Notes
It’s our pleasure to introduce you to the brand new self-titled debut CD from Boston’s own Sunny Day Rainbows! Led by singer-songwriter Adam Luciano, the Sunny Day Rainbows have created a fantastic album for children of all ages that even adults will love! Each song is filled with exciting instruments and unique studio performances that not only tell a story but also give each track a fully contained organic sound and feel. This is music that’s perfect for playing in the car or for at home listening. The CD’s whimsical artwork is fun to see and the lyrics to each of the 10 original songs are included in a colorful 8 page insert.

Adam Luciano and Elijah Biller began writing and performing songs for children in 2003 while both were studying music at New York University. A Massachusetts native, Adam is now based in Boston and continues to write and record Sunny Day Rainbows’ music with highly talented local musicians. Performers on this debut album are David Hemingway, drummer, of Providence based Americana-roots band Joe Fletcher & The Wrong Reasons; Dylan Tyson, bass guitar, of psychedelic rock group Planetoid; and Dave Falcone, of Davey-D and the Aeroplane Pilots.

“Sunny Day Rainbows” has already received lots of attention thanks to its fun melodies and catchy hooks. The album was recently showcased on WZLX 100.7 in Boston and even led to a station wide songwriting contest. Sunny Day Rainbows will also be performing regularly on WERS 88.9 FM, Emerson College’s well-known and influential station for their program “The Playground." All these songs will have your kids, and you, singing along and that’s a good thing!
