With a full, lush sound, sensitively crafted arrangements and a handsome-in-flannel aesthetic, superjuice does more than revive the earnest American male rock band of the early 90s-they improve upon it, tempering the angst with smarter lyrics, sharper musicianship and eclectic electronic touches.
The formation of superjuice was the result of a chance meeting between singer/songwriter Andy DiSimone and bassist Bob Troia. The two had met on a few occasions during their college careers, sometimes even playing on the same bills, but hadn't attempted collaboration until they both relocated to New York City in 1999. This assembly, through exclusive gigging in New York City and releasing singles via their Web site, gained both national and international popularity. After two years of writing and gigging with various professional musicians, Andy and Bob finally found their perfect fit with Arizona-bred guitarist Rick Heins and NYC-native Pete Gilbert on drums. superjuice was born.
The band's debut, "Last Against the Wall", was released in summer 2002 and is already garnering an A&R buzz. "Last Against the Wall" is a wonderful progression for the band, showcasing the the band's diverse range of styles, from the rock and jazz blend of "Listen", to the Britain-esque wall of sound of "Shine", to the trip-hop infused "Need it Now", to the 70's pop feel of "Humble State".

- All Music Guide
"Inside 'Last Against the Wall's comparatively slick (by unsigned band standards) production hides feel-good pop rock that's not afraid to play with the formula a little."
- Splendid E-zine
"While they definitely have the alterna-rock spirit, their music shows much more promise than others in their genre. Although some of their material really rocks out, there is a gentle, flowing nature to the songs, which creates sort of a spin on what you've heard before. This band has individuality and in their short time together have already matured more than most pop rock bands do in ten years."
- IndieRec.com
"superjuice's four-song EP, 'Last Against the Wall', features intelligent pop lyrics married to intricate yet driving orchestrations."

"Blazing guitar work against a full-out background sound not unlike the best work of Dishwalla."
