Album Notes
"Right Here Right Now" was recorded by Eric Fritsch at Eastwood Studios in Nashville TN in August, 2017. The album was co produced by Robin Salmon and Eric Fritsch and mixed by Fritsch and Salmon. All songs on the album were written by Robin Salmon and Afton Seekins and were performed by Seekins on vocals and percussion, Salmon on vocals, acoustic and electric guitar, Eric Fritsch on bass, mandoline, organ and electric guitar and Paul Griffith on drums and percussion.
The songs are mostly about love, loss, experiences growing up and personal triumph as seen through the eyes of Seekins and Salmon. Robin and Afton are not only partners in music but also in life. As of January 28, 2017 they will be husband and wife. Their life is filled with travel and writing and performing music together. Their songs and performances are a window to their travels and experiences.
"Pouring Rainbow" is a nostalgic look at simple moments that left an impact and shouldn't be taken for granted while "Big Mamma Big Daddy" is a colorful look at Aftons childhood growing up in Alaska. "I'll never Let Go" is a song penned about their upcoming wedding and taking the time to appreciate their moment in life together.
