Album Notes

“Serpentine Tales” is a collection of stories about life and the questions it poses in love, faith and friendship. Created over a long period of time, it spans many musical chasms.

Susan Lowery is a vocalist and songwriter of multiple styles. She is the consummate professional and has performed in various genres throughout her life. Her early influences were not only the singer/songwriters of the seventies, but the R & B greats and rock acts as well.

Susan can be heard along with others at the Lincoln Exhibit at Disneyland in Anaheim, soloing in churches, playing coffee shops and night clubs in the Los Angeles area. Originally from the Northwest, she relocated to Los Angeles to realize her dream of becoming a studio singer, songwriter, visual artist and story writer. Recently relocating to New Mexico - "The Land of Enchantment," (Summer 2007), She will continue on in her creative pursuits while taking in all of the peace and beauty that this wildish region has to offer.

Other projects of completion: back up vocals on “The Sound Of The Blue Heart’s” 2006 release “Beauty?” with Johnny Indovina of the legendary band “Human Drama,” and the sharing of lead vocals with Johnny Duarte on “String Theory,” with composer John Sokoloff and lyricist
Paul Golubovs; the latter being available on CDbaby.

My Childhood Idol!
Sue - I remember sitting in your dads basement with Michael listening to you sing Season to Season and Ballerina, and what an inspiration your talent was. I was so glad to accidentally run across this site and find your music hear. It's been 20+ years since I heard you work your magic, and finally I can all over again. Thank you! Your give took me back to being 17 again, and I am very proud of you.

If humans could hear the goddesses sing this is it
Susan's voice is incredible. She sings like an angel. My daughters and I can't get enough of this cd. We especially love Be Still and What's Wrong Willy. Incredible story telling and soothing music.

Magnificent vocal talent in a beautiful and radiant package. A Joy!
Can I find a favorite? I'm not sure. I'd have to listen over and over. (which I do). Love Hole In My Soul and the soulful plea Hungry for Love. Her vocal range on this album is amazing. Her power vibrates the room. Great accomplishment without selling her soul to get the job done. Five Stars and then some!!!!

The best!!!
I have always loved Susan's music. Buy I may be a little biased, we have been friends forever. But I am still a big fan.

Sue's CD turned out very well. GOOD SHOW!
I did some playing on this CD but I didn't mix it so you always wonder how it's going to turn out, and I gotta say I'm pleasantly surprised! I'm especially fond of Ballerina, and She Wolf, but I gotta say Season to Season is the standout. Well, that and Ballerina. I don't know those are toss up's for me. I love em both. Songwriters songs for sure. To top it off, the rest of the CD turned out exceptionaly well. Sue's an outstanding vocalist and there's plenty of material here to show off her talents. Great song writing, great mixes, well produced. It's a treat. Oh yea, she's pretty too!
