Album Notes
In 1987, Susan worked with Shad O'Shea at Counterpart Creative Studios/Fraternity Records (home of The Casinos Top 40 hit, "Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye" and Lonnie Mack's 1963 guitar instrumental, "Memphis"-#5 on Billboard's Pop Chart and #4 on Billboard's R & B Chart) in producing her 45 rpm "Ivory Horse"/"Heaven", under her former name, Sue Spaeth, which was played across the country on radio stations in over 40 states. Requests were made for more music in her haunting, melodic voice. She continued her music career in playing with local bands in Northern Minnesota, and in 2000, she released "Midnight Rain"/"Minnesota Blue" (Vinta Recording/Sandy DeLaCruz), which was inspired from the plight of Iron Ore miners after the shutdown in production of a Minnesota mine. In 2013, Susan awoke one morning with "Take Me Home". With her songwriting spurred on again in 2014, she continued with "Erica Lynn" and "Twilight". Susan's music took on a personal, heartfelt tribute to the generations of musicians before her. Her 2014 release of album Take Me Home, recorded at Sacred Heart Recording Studio (Engineered and Mastered by Eric Swanson) in Duluth, Minnesota, is a compilation of original piano instrumentals; a soothing and sincere soundtrack depicting many of the emotions of Susan's past.

Deep, thoughtful melodies-enchanting
Amazing work by an outstanding artist.

Beautiful calming piano music
Goose bumps. Listening to this music gave me goose bumps, so calming. In the car or after a stressful day, this is the cd to listen to.
