TRANSPARENCY is the new trio of Cologne based saxophonist and composer Sven Decker.

The center motif of his music is the idea of ​​transparency and reduction.

Reduction in sound density with maximum intensity and transparency in the design and melodic compositional style.

The eleven compositions of the current CD "Sepia" are strongly autobiographical, intensive and inherently small isolated stories, that sometimes show a flavour of dreamy and melancholic, sometimes eruptive and demanding elements.

The two musicians Matthias Akeo Nowak (b) and Etienne Nillesen (dr) - well-established in the Cologne scene - promote the essentials in the compositions by reduced, tension-filled playing.
